Ground Floor:

  • The Nickerson Archives:  Archival materials and books covering the history of Cape Cod and the college

1st Floor:

  • Front Desk:
    • Check out and return books
    • Borrow Reserve books, chargers, headphones
    • Get an ID (Monday-Thursday 8:30 am-7:30 pm, Friday 8:30 am-4:30 pm)
  • Instructional Media Services (IMS):
    • Audio-Visual Materials (DVDs)
    • Equipment: Digital Recorders, Digital Cameras, Scientific/Graphing Calculators and more
  • Reference Desk:
    • Ask Here: Librarians on duty to help with research or finding/using library materials
    • Computers
    • Journals, Magazines, Microfilm and Newspapers
    • Reference Books: (Library Use Only)
    • Tables for group work

2nd Floor:

  • Books: call numbers A-J
  • Quiet Study Area

3rd Floor: 

  •  Books: important call numbers: QM and QP (Anatomy and Physiology), R (Medicine), RC (Conditions), RM (Medications and Treatments), RT (Nursing)
  • Quiet Study Area

How to Use This Guide

Each tab on the guide will link you to resources, an assignment, or a page covering the best resources for a specific Nursing class.  While we have links to both library subscription sources and open websites, the search box on this guide will only bring you to the links we have-it will not search the sources themselves.

To request and borrow materials, you will need a Wilkens Library Card Number.  Don't have one? Contact us.  Library Card numbers are included on all CCCC IDs and are available to all CCCC students, staff and faculty.
