HIS120 World History II: Where print books are located

Where are the books?

The library uses a system of call numbers to organize our books.  You can browse the following sections for books about World History (on the second floor of the Wilkens Library):

  • D - World History - General
  • DS - History - Asia
  • DT - History - Africa
  • DU -History- Oceania
  • F - History - Latin America. Spanish America

You will also find books related to world history in the B's (Philosophy and Religion) the H's (Social Science), the R's (History of Medicine) the U's (Military Science). Make a note of the call number before you head for the stacks!

Here's a refresher on how to read LC call numbers from the Online Library Learning Center.

  • When you find an item you want, try looking at the full record and clicking on the subject links to find more books in the same area
