The Wilkens Library doesn't have the resources you want or need?  Try the Boston Public Library's Databases

Appy for a BPL eCARD to access (available to all Massachusetts residents).

Interlibrary Loan

What if you need an article that we don't have in one of our databases?

The next step is Interlibrary Loan, or ILL for short.  ILL is when you give us all the information you can on an article or other source and the library requests the item from another institution to be sent here for you.

We advise patrons to allow ten days for material to arrive.  At times we do get materials sooner, but there are no guarantees.

Massachusetts Trial Court Libraries

The Massachusetts Trial Court Libraries are a network of law libraries that are open to the public; the nearest is in Barnstable.  Their webstie is an excellent source for legal information and help finding it, including the Laws of Massachusetts, state codes, and information in plain English on legal topics.
