Where Do I Find Books?

The Wilkens Library uses the Library of Congress Classification system to organize our books. Call numbers A-J are found on the second floor; K-Z are found on the 3rd floor.  Reference and Reserve books are on the first floor; Audiovisual sources are in the IMS room on the ground floor.

Find Books and More with the CLAMS Catalog

Click on the icon above to search the CLAMS catalog.

  • Change the location to Cape Cod Community College to search only the Wilkens Library collection
  • Author searches should be entered last name, first name, for example: Hemingway, Ernest
  • Each item in the CLAMS catalog is assigned subjects. Click the subjects listed on the item to find more like it.
  • Request books in other CLAMS libraries by clicking Request. Enter your last name, library barcode, and PIN #-your student ID#.

To use our databases from off campus, borrow books from the Wilkens Library, or place requests or renew  books with the CLAMS catalog, you will need a Wilkens Library barcode for your Student ID.  Come to the front desk to register for you barcode today!
